The avarice of mankind is insatiable.

Dante’s inferno circles of hell and punishment, the punishment of greed was the inspiration for the NANA Fall collection.

The consequence of Greed is being boiled in hot oil – oil in this sense can be taken in many different context and I chose to portray the infamous BP oil spill as it’s the perfect example of corporate greed harming and polluting the environment.

A photograph stood out to me during my research and it was a photo of a bird covered in oil. The environmental impact it had on the wildlife impacted my design process to raise awareness of the negative impact the  oil corporation has on wildlife.
